Lifetime Products Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Mascot, Knoxville, Tennessee. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for improving manufacturing processes through Lean principles and recommending equipment for the blow‑molding production and logistics departments on all shifts. You will work in an energetic team of professionals in a fast‑paced, state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing environment. Must be self‑motivated, proactive, organized and have excellent communication skills, as well as a good attitude towards teamwork and cooperation with all team members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work closely with production, logistics, maintenance and engineering teams Design, set up, and support product assembly and packaging lines Analyze and optimize material flow and process efficiency Create and maintain routings and costing Develop processes and write process documents and work instructions Identify equipment needs Troubleshoot assembly and packaging equipment Deploy new products Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university in Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Technology (MET) Proficiency with mathematical concepts such as statistical analysis, time studies and manufacturing cost Ability to read, write and interpret routine reports, safety rules, procedure manuals and general business documents Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD; 3D CAD experience is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to present in front of groups Lean manufacturing experience or certification is a plus Competencies Safety and Security – Complies with all safety and security policies and procedures, reports potential unsafe conditions and uses equipment properly Quality – Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, monitors own work to ensure quality Trust & Respect – Treats people with respect, works with integrity and ethics, and upholds organizational values Innovation – Generates suggestions for improving work Team Work – Balances team and individual responsibilities, puts team success above own interests, and supports everyone’s efforts Diversity – Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences and promotes a harassment‑free environment Benefits Paid time off Profit sharing program Medical, Life, Vision, Dental, Disability coverage 401(k) Equal Opportunity Employer Lifetime Products is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
