Job Description
A cybersecurity consulting startup is looking to hire a Senior CMMC specialist. You'll worked with DoD contractors to help them meet stringent regulatory requirements such as NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, and DFARS. The company provides end to end solutions, designed to simplify compliance and improve security. You'll act as the compliance SME, working with clients on readiness reviews, gap analyses, and consult on any questions when it comes to these strict compliance frameworks. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, have worked in client-facing roles, and have a strong background in CMMC, DFARS, and NIST SP 800-171.
This role is 100% Remote
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance
5+ years of experience with CMMC, DFARS, and/or NIST SP 800-171
Experience conducting readiness reviews and gap analyses for CMMC assessments
Strong communication skills and previous experience in a client-facing or advisory role
