We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support IT development projects and operations. The role involves system configuration, development of technical documentation, user outreach, troubleshooting, and providing Tier One and Tier Two production support. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to analyze business processes and translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform system configuration and develop technical documentation and presentation materials to support IT projects and operations.

Engage in user outreach, manage issues, conduct research, benchmark peer and best practices, and assist with user provisioning.

Provide Tier One and Tier Two production support, including customer communication, troubleshooting, researching, and recommending resolution options according to established service levels.

Interview key stakeholders and end users to analyze business processes and systems needs.

Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

Capture use cases, user stories, and conceptual process models.

Meet with customers to field direct requests, discuss requirements, and collaborate on solution design, including business process and policy-related matters.

Work with the technical team to ensure requirements are well understood throughout the software development lifecycle, from review to signoff.

Develop test scripts and execute testing to ensure new products, enhancements, bug fixes, and patches function as expected and do not introduce regression issues.

Provide functional support during project release go-lives, which may involve occasional evening or weekend work.

Assist with general administration, special projects, and other related job duties as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Strong ability to analyze business processes and translate requirements into actionable functional and technical specifications.

Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation of requirements.

Experience developing test scripts and executing comprehensive testing to ensure product functionality and quality.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail.

Familiarity with user provisioning, Tier One and Tier Two support, and production issue management.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to design effective solutions and ensure user satisfaction.

Experience with use case development, user stories, and process modeling.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in agile development environments and using agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Experience with business process design and policy implementation.

Familiarity with systems integration and managing end-to-end technical processes.

Experience with testing tools and user training.

Certifications (if any):

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certifications preferred.

ITIL or Agile/Scrum certifications (optional).
