The Department of Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School seeks qualified candidates at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for a full‑time academic position in Palliative Care Medicine. Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and University Hospital in Newark, NJ partner to recruit a Palliative Care Physician who will direct a multidisciplinary palliative care team across clinical departments at University Hospital. The selected candidate will be ABIM board eligible or certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine with prior ABIM certification in Internal Medicine. In addition to providing outstanding clinical care, successful recruits will have a track record of success in academic health care and be committed to teaching and scholarship.
