Senior Pre‑Sales Solutions Engineer – SIEM/Security Analytics / CTI Anomali

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional pre‑sales technical expertise through effective delivery of technical and product demonstrations.

Serve as a valuable business resource to prospects and customers, leveraging industry expertise to employ executive‑level selling practices and maintain consistent communication and ongoing technical consultation.

Take the lead in driving opportunities within strategic and enterprise accounts in the assigned region, focusing on SIEM solutions.

Act as a proactive Technical Account Manager in target accounts, fostering relationships and engaging in business development activities.

Collaborate seamlessly with Sales, Marketing, and Product Managers, serving as the technical liaison between Enterprise Business Representatives and pre‑sales customers.

Own the primary technical relationship with pre‑sales customers, ensuring satisfaction through skillful management and delivery of technical insights via on‑site interactions, online communication, and phone conversations.

Support the regional Sales Organization to guarantee timely and successful closure of sales, particularly in the context of SIEM solutions.

Facilitate effective communication between customers and Product Management, conveying pertinent feedback and requirements.

Play a central role in planning and conducting mid/high‑level meetings with customers and prospects.

Support excellent technical relationships with partners across the region.

Quickly acquire, apply, and communicate technical knowledge concerning Anomali’s technology as well as competitors’ offerings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years in lieu of degree).

Extensive background and expertise in security analytics with a focus on SIEM technologies and CTI.

Minimum two years of experience as a field systems engineer, sales engineer, or consultant supporting large enterprise customers.

Strong grasp of general networking concepts and proficiency in Linux.

Deep understanding of security and information event management principles and methodologies.

Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms such as ArcSight, SPLUNK, NetWitness, QRadar, McAfee SIEM, or similar tools.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.

Confident and effective presenter, capable of addressing diverse audiences.

A passion for both sales and technology, with a strong desire to advance your sales engineering career.

Openness to coaching and a proactive approach to training/feedback.

Self‑motivated, displaying a robust work ethic.

Clear and concise communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Proficient in delivering engaging presentations with an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.

Demonstrated ability to manage Proof of Value and adeptness in conducting solution demonstrations.

Preferred location: U.S. Eastern or Central timezones.

Compensation Transparency $150,000 - $175,000 USD (annual base salary range; actual pay varies by location, knowledge, skills, and experience). Eligible for benefits, bonus, and/or equity.
