We are looking for an
Associate Director/Director, Corporate Development . Reporting to Medison’s Head of Corporate Development, this individual will lead structuring and valuation, assess and execute transactions that align with our long‑term growth strategy. This is a great opportunity for a proactive, result‑oriented professional with deep experience in valuation and transaction execution in the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities
Valuation expert: Lead valuation, forecasting and structuring across all types of transactions, in collaboration with BD, Market Research and Corporate Strategy. Act as a Center of Excellence for all Valuation matters in the company.
Transactions: Identify, evaluate and execute key transactions: M&A, strategic commercial partnerships and other transactions in support of Medison’s growth.
Cross‑functional leadership: Lead cross‑functional teams through diligence efforts, ensuring rigorous analysis and internal collaboration. Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess deal economics, synergies, and strategic fit. Lead the integration of corporate, scientific and commercial assessments into comprehensive deal analysis. Prepare and present materials for executive leadership.
Strategic support: Work in collaboration with Corporate Strategy and other functions to support Company’s Long‑Range Plan, BOD related analyses and other financial assessments.
Learnings: Spearhead post‑deal analysis, insights and implementation of key learnings in BD practices.
Ambassador: Represent Medison externally at key industry conferences and with potential partners, serving as a visible ambassador for the company’s growth strategy.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
7‑12 years experience in corporate/business development with primary experience in valuation/BD Finance in the pharma/biotech industry. Investment banking and management consulting will also be considered.
Demonstrated successful track record in executing transactions, as lead or key contributor. Strong preference for candidates with M&A experience and late‑stage or commercial transactions.
Strong expertise in valuation techniques including DCF, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis.
Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
Understanding of the drug development lifecycle and regulatory pathways.
Entrepreneurial mindset, highly driven, hands‑on, excited by fast‑paced hyper‑growth company.
Collaborative – builds trust and alignment across teams and seniority.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD):
$160,000 to $240,000 per annum
The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
