Job Description Embark Behavioral Health Bend is seeking an

Admissions Director

to lead admissions and intakes at our Residential Treatment Center. This highly interactive leadership role requires a strong clinical background to support families in crisis and ensure appropriate placement and care. Reporting directly to the Executive Director and serving on the Leadership Team, you will be one of the first points of connection for families—offering compassionate support, guiding admissions, and helping teens begin their healing journey.

Located in Bend, Oregon, our residential treatment facility supports youth aged 10-17 struggling with behavioral health challenges. Our family‑style residence fosters community engagement and interpersonal development, creating a supportive environment for healing and growth. Responsibilities

Educate and represent Embark Bend program to families, referents, and providers

Coordinate clinical clearance, insurance verification, and financial communications

Collaborate with prospective families to ensure efficient enrollment and internal coordination to maintain program census goals

Manage admissions and intake processes on the day of enrollment

Complete timely and accurate documentation

Collect and track key outcome data to support program effectiveness

Conduct on‑campus tours and family visits with warmth and professionalism

Support families throughout the treatment process

Participate in on‑call rotation as part of the leadership team, responding to crisis and residential needs

Qualifications

Prior admissions experience in residential treatment or healthcare sales/marketing

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field

Strong organizational, communication, and decision‑making skills

Calm, confident presence with families in crisis

Tech savvy and comfortable with databases and outcomes tracking

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment

Strong understanding of insurance processes, including VOB and financial counseling

Ability to be flexible and responsive as needs arise, including occasional after‑hours communication or crisis support

CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

Valid Oregon Driver’s License

Preferred: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Provisional license: Master of Social Work (MSW), Registered MFT Associate or Registered LPC Associate

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field
