Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is an entry-level position. You’ll learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive functions such as brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical systems. You’ll also perform scheduled maintenance, change oil, install batteries, shock absorbers, and road-test vehicles.
Pay Range $12.80 – $19.20
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
Install tires and perform tire maintenance.
Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
Road-test vehicles.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles at all times.
Experience in the automotive service industry preferred.
Reading, writing, and math skills.
