What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (Service Programs) to strengthen Service Engineering's capabilities across our global fleet of Energy and Charging products. This role spans support for both sustaining and new programs within the Deployed Product Lifecycle, ensuring Tesla's products remain reliable, compliant, and serviceable worldwide.
The TPM will be responsible for orchestrating large-scale programs that require deep technical engagement, resource mobilization, and systemic risk management. They will partner with engineering, operations, and planning teams to build scalable execution frameworks, align dependencies, and deliver measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering background, proven program management experience, and the ability to engage technically while delivering scalable processes and solutions.
What You'll Do
Lead a portfolio of large-scale, multi-region service campaigns from inception to closure, ensuring on-time, first-time-right execution while balancing priorities, resources, and fleet-level risks
Drive cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Compliance, Policy, Service Ops, Field Service, and Materials to define scope, risks, and rollout strategies
Build live dashboards and automated reporting pipelines to provide visibility into campaign impact and execution efficiency
Conduct ROI modeling and cost-benefit analyses (CBA) to evaluate program effectiveness, guide prioritization, and optimize resource allocation
Establish scalable governance structures, escalation pathways, and lessons-learned frameworks to codify best practices
Continuously innovate on campaign processes by integrating automation, AI/ML, and global best practices
What You'll Bring
6+ years of technical program management or engineering leadership experience in complex, cross-functional environments
Strong operational rigor: resource allocation, risk identification, dependency management, and execution governance
Proven experience in process design and continuous improvement, scaling workflows and tools for global teams
Hands-on data and analysis skills (Excel, SQL, Python, or equivalent) with experience building dashboards and automation
Proficiency with Jira/Confluence or equivalent program management tools
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence without authority, align executives, and drive clarity across diverse teams

Expected Compensation $88,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
