Pre‑Sales Solutions Architect
to join our growing team. Working closely with our sales, product, and technical teams, the Solutions Architect provides technical expertise, delivers value‑focused product demonstrations, and designs tailored solutions that address customer‑specific needs. You will serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, customers, and internal stakeholders, translating customer pain into tailored solutions and demonstrable ROI.

Key Responsibilities and Activities
Lead technical strategy and solution alignment for high‑value and complex sales opportunities.
Partner with account executives and account managers to drive qualification, discovery, and tailored solution storytelling for executive‑level stakeholders.
Architect and deliver strategic demonstrations and ROI/value presentations that are directly aligned to business goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with C‑suite and technical buyers, becoming a go‑to resource during the buying journey.
Leverage the Demo2Win demo framework to deliver customer‑centric presentations and software demonstrations.
Design and present technical solutions that align with the customer’s business objectives and solve specific problems.
Develop technical proposals and documentation, including configuration details, architecture diagrams, and integration plans.
Create accounting/ERP integration solution blueprints to highlight data flow between systems.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams to provide voice‑of‑customer feedback and influence roadmap prioritization.
Partner with Marketing and Enablement to develop technical content, demo environments, and messaging frameworks.
Work closely with Professional Services and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre‑sales to post‑sales.
Maintain a deep understanding of the ServiceTrade platform, industry, and competitive landscape.
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in SaaS for fire protection, life safety, and mechanical services.
Develop and deliver internal training sessions to sales and support teams on product functionalities and best practices.
Understand and communicate the platform’s SaaS architecture and API capabilities, demonstrating how integrations can enhance customer workflows and address specific business needs.
Ability to demonstrate technical integrations between ServiceTrade and leading accounting systems.
Knowledge and Skills
2+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consultant, or similar technical role.
Proven experience demonstrating SaaS solutions with a focus on value and ROI.
(Preferred) Familiarity with legacy construction accounting software, such as Sage 100C, Sage 300, Viewpoint, COINS, Foundation, Spectrum, QuickBooks.
Familiarity with value‑based selling methodologies, such as Command of the Message or solutions selling.
Ability to deliver technical presentations and demonstrations that are tailored to customer needs.
Strong executive presence and comfort with presenting to C‑level stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
A customer‑focused mindset with the ability to build trust and credibility.
(Preferred) Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Willingness to travel during sales cycles, often with short notice (30‑50%).
