The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team in a pivotal role that supports the transition to our Clients and Industries (formerly Markets) operating model across both industry and function, extending from Global to Regions. This position will play a key role in the strategy design execution of the Global Sector, collaborating closely with Regions and valuing their insights to drive meaningful change.
The Sector Growth Senior Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving connectivity and strategy execution of the Sector, convening and collaborating across the Regions and Service Lines to drive joint prioritization, capital allocation, and growth of our Premier and Strategic Account portfolio.
This is a permanent role reporting to the Global Industry Strategy & Execution Lead.
Your Key Responsibilities
Connect and collaborate: Be the glue driving close connectivity and collaboration across the Sector, Super Region (SR), and Service Line (SL) teams, ensuring alignment with global and SR enablement teams.
Drive growth of Strategic and Premier Accounts: Work closely with GCSPs on strategically important accounts, converting opportunities to wins and strengthening relationships with SL and Region Account/Pursuit teams.
Facilitate and drive execution: Support shaping the vision for the Sector with Global Sector Leader, SR Sector Leaders, and SL representatives; drive end‑to‑end execution and support Sector Board activities.
Go-to‑Market & ‘Big Bet’ Activation: Support GtM and operations teams to deliver the GtM strategy, execute sector big bets, and ensure capital allocation aligns with sector strategy.
Brand & Market Reputation: Partner with BMC and Insights to build sector reputation, including analyst relations and relationships with external parties to support EY’s strategic positioning.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Work through high levels of stakeholder complexity, ambiguity, conflict, and abstract concepts.
Identify innovative alternatives, digging into issues to surface core pain points.
Create and drive a project plan, directing action with tact and diplomacy.
Drive a program of work from start to finish.
Shift between abstract strategic discussions and operational detail.
Build trusted relationships and collaborate across a matrix organization.
What We Look For
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent qualification required.
10+ years current experience with EY or a Global Professional Services firm track record.
Flexibility to work extended hours across varying time zones.
What We Offer You
Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range (US only) of $135,300 to $260,400. Greater ranges apply in key markets (e.g., New York City, Washington State, California).
Hybrid work model: most people work in person 40–60% of the time per engagement.
Flexible vacation policy, including EY Paid Holidays, winter/summer breaks, personal/family care, and other leaves of absence.
