eCommerce advertising platform

purpose-built to help retailers and brands substantially increase cart size and gross merchandise volume (GMV).

For our first module, we’re building a Demand Side Platform (DSP) — an algorithmic buying system powered by machine learning for bidding optimization and AI for creative asset generation.

We are an early-stage, privately-backed company helping APAC-based retailers diversify their ad spend onto new, high-performing programmatic channels across the globe. You’ll be joining a team of builders from

JD.com, Baidu, and Google , bringing deep expertise in adtech, commerce, and AI-driven marketing systems.

The Opportunity As a

Sales Manager , you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth and new business acquisition for Carty’s DSP platform. You’ll develop relationships with advertisers and agencies, help them understand how Carty can enhance their return on ad spend, and expand our footprint in North America and APAC cross‑border markets.

This is a strategic hunter role ideal for a results‑driven sales professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment — someone excited to bring an innovative programmatic product to market.

Key Responsibilities

Build, manage, and grow a high‑quality pipeline of advertisers and agencies across eCommerce, gaming, and mobile sectors.

Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations that articulate Carty’s value proposition to marketing decision‑makers.

Negotiate insertion orders, manage deal structures, and ensure successful handoffs to the account and operations teams.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with product and supply teams to align advertiser needs with platform capabilities.

Surface market feedback to guide product development and go‑to‑market strategy.

Analyze campaign performance and provide data‑backed insights to clients for optimization and growth.

Represent Carty at key industry conferences and APAC‑facing events as the voice of our advertising solutions.

Qualifications

Experience: 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in digital or programmatic ad sales, ideally within a DSP, SSP, or major publisher/media company.

Programmatic Fluency: Deep understanding of RTB mechanics, media buying, performance marketing, and programmatic ecosystems.

Bilingual & Travel: Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese required; ability and willingness to travel frequently to APAC offices (Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing).

Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for optimization.

Startup Mindset: Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, early‑stage environment — proactive, resourceful, and adaptable.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
