Outpatient Psychiatry Opportunity‑ 20 Min North of Boston
Exciting opportunity for Psychiatrist to work with Adult Patients with co‑occurring disorders.
Addiction Medicine Experience preferred. Position available 20‑40 hours/week, flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct psychodiagnostic, psychotherapeutic treatments, psychopharmacological evaluation, management, and therapy to clients of the health center.
Provide expertise in psychiatry for patients with co‑occurring disorders and experience with out‑patient and after care mental health patients.
Specific knowledge of prescribing psychiatric medications and substance abuse medications.
Work collaboratively within a fast‑paced multidisciplinary practice and demonstrate sensitivity and experience working with underserved multicultural populations in a community setting.
Qualifications:
Current Massachusetts licensed physician.
DEA License.
Experience in psychiatry and addiction medicine preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
