Overview Orlando Health Cancer Center is seeking hematologists with a special interest and experience in leukemia. The Cancer Institute is developing a new separate Leukemia service. The hematology division is well developed and busy providing classic and malignant hematology services, with a well-developed bone marrow transplant section offering both autologous and allogenic transplants and cellular therapy, drawing patients from a large geographic area.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the treatment of leukemia patients both inpatient and outpatient.

Work with the rest of the leukemia team to further develop the leukemia section in cooperation with the hematology and bone marrow transplant services.

Advance research activities related to leukemia.

Responsible for the education and training of the fellows and residents with structured rotation.

Academic appointments available at the University of Central Florida (UCF) and Florida State University (FSU) for eligible candidates.

A very competitive contract will be provided for selected physicians.
