Join our Advanced EV Development (ADVEV) team for a 6‑month Student Worker Program and help build the future of mobility! Immerse yourself in Ford's center of innovation and growth, working alongside top engineering, design, and software talent to create groundbreaking EVs and contribute to key technologies like batteries, charging, and recycling. This is your chance to gain hands‑on experience and make a real impact on the automotive industry.

The Software Technical Program Management Team is responsible for managing the highly complex, cross‑functional software development for Ford’s Advanced EV organization. The team is responsible for project planning, risk management, and coordinating efforts across multiple teams both within and outside the Software domain. The Software TPM Team is also responsible for defining and managing the technical operations of the Software organization.

Qualifications You’ll have…

Enrolled at a 4‑year accredited college or university, rising junior level education status at the start of the internship

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Economics, or related field

Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including: Java, C/C++, Go, or Python

Project management experience through class projects, clubs, or internships

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar project tracking tools

Data analysis and dashboarding experience

Experience writing code using Business Analytics or Data Visualization software such as Tableau, EazyBI, PowerBI, etc.

Responsibilities What you’ll do…

Learn to manage a Software Development project using Agile methodology

Learn Technical Program Management skills such as project scoping, planning, execution tracking, risk mitigation, reporting

Successfully implement a project (managed and led by you) by the end of the Student Worker period

Data assessment activities to identify optimization opportunities and gaps within the Software processes

Metrics definition and dashboarding to help drive data‑driven decision making
