FY26 Seasonal Tax-FSO- GCR Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory-Real Estate Manager Join EY as a Seasonal Tax Manager in the Real Estate practice. We are looking for a tax accounting leader with experience in real estate, ASC 740, and federal income taxation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clients with tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning, including internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve‑outs, financial statements, GAAP conversions, share‑based compensation, restatements, and balance sheet remediation.

Assist companies with all aspects of the tax provision preparation and review.

Review the tax provision process to improve efficiency and accuracy, enhance controls, and assess tax risk beyond Sarbanes‑Oxley Section 404.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Tax accounting projects and consulting experience.

Experience in real‑estate tax, ASC 740, IAS 12.

Process and controls enhancement.

Identification, prioritization, monitoring, and remediation of key risks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degrees (MST, MAcc, JD/LLM) preferred.

Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership.

Minimum 5 years of experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS.

Broad understanding of federal income taxation.

Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred (Ideal) Experience

ASC 740, Real Estate, IAS 12, corporate tax planning and compliance experience.

Relevant tax experience or equivalent in business or industry with broad exposure to federal income taxation.
