We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented
Staff UX Designer
to join our Design Team at Caseware, a leading SaaS organization. As a Staff UX Designer, you will play a critical role in designing exceptional user experiences for our cloud‑based audit, financial reporting, and data analytics solutions that empower accounting professionals worldwide.
❗ This is a full‑time permanent position
Location:
This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to work 3 days a week in our Toronto office, located at 351 King St E, Suite 1100, Toronto, ON.
What will you be doing:
Own the end‑to‑end user experience for high‑impact projects
Create user‑centered designs considering business requirements and user needs
Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
Conduct user research and usability testing
Collaborate with product managers and engineers on innovative solutions
Champion design best practices and evolve our design system
Stay current with UX trends and emerging technologies
Maintain detailed design documentation
Resolve customer‑impacting design issues
Contribute to Caseware's product design strategy
Assist in cross‑department design initiatives
Participate in design critiques
Mentor other designers and support their growth
What will you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent experience
8+ years in UX design, ideally in SaaS or enterprise environments
Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and process
Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools
Experience conducting user research
Knowledge of design systems and accessibility standards
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to simplify complex financial concepts through design
Experience working in agile environments
Understanding of responsive and cross‑platform design
The Tech Stack you will be working with:
Figma for UI/UX design and prototyping
Design systems and Angular components
User research and testing platforms
Microsoft Teams, Jira, and Confluence
