Job Description
Pay Range: $27.50hr - $33hr
The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for building, setting up, calibrating, and testing mechanical assemblies and final systems.
This role includes troubleshooting, performing rework when necessary, preparing technical reports, and assisting in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems, testing procedures, and production support.
Responsibilities
Build, set up, calibrate, and test mechanical assemblies and final systems.
Test and troubleshoot assemblies and systems to identify and resolve issues.
Perform rework on assemblies or systems as required by test results.
Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
Assist in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment.
Audit for accuracy and deliver material kits based on production requirements.
Experience
Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
Requirement/Must Have
Ability to acquire and apply job skills while learning company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
Capability to handle assignments that are routine or semi-routine in nature, with limited judgment and minimal decision-making.
Ability to follow established procedures for routine work and take instructions on new assignments.
