Capitalized on this opportunity to assist in the setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. You will determine and develop test specifications from blueprints, conduct fault analysis and rework if necessary, and prepare technical reports summarizing findings with recommended solutions.

Responsibilities

Perform the set‑up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.

Determine and develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.

Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.

May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.

Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.

Assist in the selection and set‑up of specialized test equipment.

Responsible for performing the set‑up, optical alignment, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of optical systems, circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.

Work on assignments that are extremely complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required to resolve problems and develop recommendations.

Test entire mechanical/electromechanical systems as part of final integration before shipping. Cycle time for testing: ~30 days.

Follow predefined scripts/tests (no coding required).

Collect and analyze data, compile into graphs, verify specs compliance.

Schedule: Swing Shift Monday‑Friday, 3:30 PM‑1:30 AM + Sunday.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Prefer 2‑4 years of relevant experience (technician, robotics, or similar).

Experience in testing digital and/or analog systems.

Ability to read complicated drawings and utilize mathematics, handbook formulas, and a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments.

Flexible, inquisitive, mature, autonomous, team‑player, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and a self‑starter independent thinker.

Attention to detail and ability to interpret data and make decisions.

Typically requires a minimum of 2‑4 years of progressive experience.

Technical Certification Bonus : Up to $500 for an approved professional certification. Single bonus per calendar year; awarded 90 days after documentation.
