About the role Under the direction of the Site Manager, the Sr Supply Chain Manager is responsible for all activities related to local Supply Chain: Warehouse and Transportation, Production Scheduling, and Material Releasing. The role requires ensuring the integrity of inventory accuracy and proper handling of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direction and support for all supply chain teams (planning, warehouse, traffic, and inventory).
Team training and development.
Reinforce company policies (Food & EE safety, Quality, Regulatory, Disciplinary, GMPs).
Assure the use of company assets by managing production lot sizes and supplier replenishment.
Ensure inventory budget targets of raw and packaging material and finished goods, and inventory accuracy.
Manager reception of all goods at the site, manage conformance of shipment with Bill of Lading, manage JIT deliveries to production lines, and coordinate control of inventory variances.
Manage MRP recommendations and ensure availability of raw and packaging material; handle replenishment and return of material related to supplier quality issues.
Ensure supplier delivery, reliability and quantity compliance; communicate weekly material requirements with suppliers.
Ensure that production scheduling aligns with customer requirements to meet demand.
Manage MRP recommendations of finished goods and optimize production scheduling.
Work closely with the Customer Service Manager to resolve product shortages.
Understand financial reports related to local activities and work with the Regional Supply Chain Manager on labor and expenses budget.
Explain monthly variances, analyze financial impact of decisions and prioritize efforts.
Lead and participate in operations/site project teams, develop, track and publish weekly and monthly KPIs.
Maintain a safe food product, comply with regulatory requirements, adhere to GMP practices, report anomalies and unsafe conditions, participate in mandatory training, and uphold quality and service expectations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency.
5+ years in supply chain leadership positions, ideally in food manufacturing.
Expert knowledge of SAP and WMS modules; ERP or related experience.
Leadership experience required (supervision/management).
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Additional Requirements

Strong negotiation, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.

Competitive base pay range: $115,000 – $155,000 per year.
