About The Company
Our client is an investment advisor with over $30 billion in AUM with a focus on global credit investing.
Responsibilities
Perform the daily cash monitoring and booking/reviewing of related journal entries for numerous firm and partner entities
Assist with the monthly/quarterly close process including balance sheet reconciliations and allocations
Prepare the management company financial statements including consolidation of multiple domestic and international subsidiaries
Manage firm liquidity ensuring maximum return on cash and cash equivalents and prepare associated reporting for upper management
Work with the firm’s international accountants to ensure consistent accounting treatment across domestic and foreign subsidiaries
Provide quarterly and annual reporting for tax compliance
Ensure liquidity for expenses are properly recorded in the GL
Prepare periodic external reports including use tax filings, property tax declarations, and certain regulatory reports
Monitor and reconcile fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
5-7 years of corporate accounting experience
Asset management experience preferred
Experience with Workday
Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau or other automation tools
Ability to mine, organize, and synthesize large volumes of data and provide meaningful reporting
CPA a plus
Salary Range $120,000-$150,000
