Global Sales Ops Program Leader, SMGS Global Sales Planning & Compensation Application deadline: Dec 19, 2025.

This is a high‑impact role, responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of a critical sales planning program. The program manages AWS customer data and the associated go‑to‑market strategy and operations requirements. When executed successfully, it will enable AWS to build and operationalize a holistic customer intelligence capability, defining a customer across geography, segments, acquisitions, and industries, and mapping the relationship between customers and partners.

Ultimately, this program will influence how resources are allocated to customers to maximize both customer experience and business growth. Working across a broad set of stakeholders—including business leaders, sales planners, field operations, and central operations teams—the leader will advise tooling partners on business requirements and use effective communications, strong relationships, and sophisticated data‑driven insights to support change management.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years’ experience in Sales Planning or Sales Operations. We are especially looking for builders—people who understand how to construct new capabilities and implement scalable solutions—to serve in a rapidly growing, dynamic team. This leader will work backwards from business strategies, invent and simplify, and engage with stakeholders across many global AWS teams and partners, building trust through deep understanding.
