Overview
The Manager, Marketing & Data Science will develop and deliver advanced ML/AI‑based products and analytic solutions integrated into the Publicis CoreAI to support the agency’s global media engagement relationship with Mars, Inc. The role will be a critical driver of both technical and effective delivery of advanced analytic solutions, focusing on connected measurement, outcomes/KPI forecasting, experimental designs, and optimisation across brand and performance media investments.
Responsibilities
Design and develop ML/AI‑based data products and analytic solutions for the Publicis CoreAI workflows, supporting the OneMars Measurement and Optimization roadmap.
Audit and assess current data science capabilities and offerings with peers in technology and product engineering, bringing domain expertise to optimize media and marketing planning.
Operate in a constant growth‑hacking mode, enhancing current AI‑based analytic data products.
Develop Proof‑of‑Concepts to evaluate new tools and approaches.
Collaborate with product partners to translate needs into AI/ML solutions for Publicis CoreAI.
Develop sophisticated ML/AI/GenAI applications across multiple programming languages, frameworks, and tools, adopting new paradigms where they deliver significant benefit.
Produce high‑quality, rapid‑delivery code that drives compelling utility.
Model across multiple data domains and platforms, building scalable, highly available analytic systems.
Work with cross‑functional teams—including product strategists, data & technology engineers, and business analysts—to deliver innovative AI/ML features and services that enable successful workflow implementations.
Ensure projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
Maintain domain thought leadership and industry innovation, staying current with trends, technologies, and methodological standards in data science.
Support internal knowledge‑sharing and training programs to elevate team expertise.
Contribute to growth through editing case studies and white papers that highlight success stories and analytic approaches.
Improve organisational technical standards within your area of expertise.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science and advanced analytics.
Experience delivering AI/ML analytic solutions in fast‑moving, innovation‑focused organisations across e‑commerce, retail, entertainment/media, travel, or advertising platforms.
Demonstrable history of hands‑on coding that showcases expertise and product impact.
Mastery of multiple programming languages and development tools, with experience building products used by other developers.
Exceptional problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
Preferred Skills
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience with agile and other progressive development methodologies.
Advanced problem‑solving skills and proactive mindset.
Education
Advanced degrees (M.Sc./Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field are preferred.
Certifications in analytics or data science (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Certified Analytics Professional) are preferred.

Compensation Range
$87,210.00 – $137,195.00 annually.
