We are seeking a
Regional Director – Caribbean, Mexico, Central America
based in a US location that enables frequent travel to the Caribbean islands (e.g., Miami or Atlanta, GA). The position reports to the Vice President of International Sales and leads a team that develops and delivers the annual business plan for the region.
The Regional Director will be responsible for: Business Planning
Develop a strategy for the region; clearly communicate and align priorities to the team.
Ensure development and execution of the annual operating plan that results in delivery of profit and shipment goals.
Ensure the Regional Manager for the Caribbean has annual and quarterly distributor and customer plans.
Grow our share of the on‑premise trade within both wine and spirits.
Collaborate with distributors to ensure full portfolio representation and manage brand execution vs. goals and plan.
Develop and implement distributor programs based on brand initiatives.
Conduct sales meetings and product presentations for distributor sales staff.
Recommend best distributor partnerships for our brands by country.
Visit each distributor and work with their sales team in all channels to grow and identify selling opportunities on a quarterly call cycle.
Develop monthly management review cadence to ensure consistent progress against annual business review.
Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business in the region; direct responsibility for Mexico and Central America while managing the RM and assisting plan delivery for the Caribbean. Time share 50% Caribbean 50% Mexico/Central America.
Develop ways to continuously improve operations and maximize effectiveness of the team; ensure work practices are clearly defined and documented.
Ensure the team has the analytical skills needed to turn data into useful insights.
Establish beneficial relationships with influential regional and local distributors that support delivery of the goals and inspire leaders and their teams. Gather input, trends and insights from distributors and customers to influence future direction of the region.
Financial Management
Prepare annual budgets and forecasts that align with company guidance and manage the P&L for the regional business, including expense and trade management.
Maintain a team scorecard that tracks performance and oversee day‑to‑day operations, assigning performance goals and assuring their completion.
Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans by effectively managing performance and making necessary changes.
Ensure strict adherence to price strategies and look for opportunities to raise prices or cut discounts to increase profit and stay on price strategy.
People Development
Empower team members with clarity and purpose by establishing well‑defined roles and expectations through RACI, enabling confident ownership and accountability.

Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years of sales management experience; wine & spirits industry experience and preferably a proven track record of success in managing the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America region.
Must be fluent in Spanish.
Ability to function effectively in a fast‑paced business environment, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in an entrepreneurial culture.
Objective‑oriented, focused, and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision.
Exceptional sales leader with a track record of always over‑delivering business objectives.
