RH is seeking a customer-centric and detail-oriented Payroll Support Associate ( to join our team on a temporary assignment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-driven, and capable of handling sensitive information with accuracy and efficiency.
This is a temporary position, based out of our headquarters in Corte Madera, CA, that requires an in-office presence Tuesday through Friday. This role offers the potential for extension based on business priorities and demonstrated performance.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll mails and documents daily.
Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee garnishments, pay adjustments, and tax documents
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding general payroll-related matters
Assist with new hire payroll setup and team member terminations
Generate payroll reports for internal and external use
Support audits by gathering necessary payroll records and documentation
Collaborate with People and IT partners to resolve payroll record discrepancies
Consistently maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information at all times
OUR REQUIREMENTS
2+ years in payroll administration, HR, or a related field
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g.UKG, Dayforce) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Google applications
Accurately process and review payroll data
Balance multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Great phone and customer service skills
Strong understanding of payroll confidentiality and data protection policies
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires an in-office presence Monday - Friday at our headquarters, based in Corte Madera, CA.
Some work outside of business hours due to payroll processing periods
