Department Overview:

Corporate Loan Operations Team

Role Description:

Deal Management and Coordination

Lead the closing process for Commercial Real Estate deals (both Balance Sheet/Syndications and Conduits).

Manage the process from initial document review through final funding

Serve as the primary operational Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Commercial Real Estate business

System and Documentation

Review and analyze Credit/Loan Agreements for operational requirements

Set up and maintain deals in the LoanIQ system

Verify and prepare settlement funding calculations

Ensure consistency between LoanIQ system and borrower documentation

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work directly with multiple teams including: Investment Banking, Global Markets, Legal (internal and external), Client Onboarding, Treasury, Mumbai Servicing Team, Escrow Agents & Clients.

Portfolio Management

Oversee Commercial Real Estate portfolio operations

Process secondary trade settlements

Handle lifecycle events

Manage cash and position reconciliation

Process early payments and corporate actions

Quality Control and Compliance

Monitor and resolve past due items related to closings

Coordinate KYC requirements for new clients

Review and provide feedback on loan closing and trading documentation

Ensure accurate settlement calculations and funding

Experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

2-5 years of Commercial Real Estate Operations experience is required.

CRE Loan Closing/Funding and servicing experience. (Balance Sheet/Syndications & Conduits)

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication abilities

Experience in Commercial Real Estate operations

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Professional client service orientation

This role requires someone who can manage complex transactions while maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders and ensuring operational accuracy throughout the process.

Experience with loan IQ is preferred.
