seeks an enthusiastic and experienced Golf Course Superintendent to manage all aspects of golf course maintenance and operations in Daytona, FL.
Key Responsibilities of your Role
Oversee the daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, roughs, and practice facilities.
Develop and implement a comprehensive agronomic plan, including turfgrass management, irrigation scheduling, pest control, and environmental stewardship.
Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance team members to ensure productivity, safety, and professional development.
Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget, track expenses, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Plan and execute short- and long-term improvement projects in coordination with the General Manager.
Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to course operations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
Degree or certification in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field preferred (experience will be considered).
Strong leadership skills with the ability to build a cohesive and motivated team.
Proven knowledge of turfgrass science, soil management, irrigation systems, and pest control practices.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience managing Bermuda and/or Bentgrass in challenging climates preferred.
