Candidate MUST relocate to the Bay Area before start date if hired. This is an onsite/hybrid requirement. Apple Customer Systems group is looking for a seasoned Sr. Solutions Architect with strong system design experience. This group is focused on building customer-facing digital solutions that are used by millions of Apple customers for their support/service and sales needs. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of overall experience with at least 7 years as a Solutions Architect. Candidate must have a Computer Science degree, understanding of Object Oriented programming language is a MUST as well as Database and NoSQL (Mongo, Cassandra, Redis, etc.) infrastructure. This candidate will deal with stakeholders (Business/Product Owner and Engineering Development Leads) to help build customer-facing products using microservice backend architecture with distributed systems and integration on different platforms such as Web/iOS/Vision OS, etc. Candidate will be expected to create detailed technical design artifacts, engage with cross-functional teams to align on solution design/API specs, document detailed data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc. Skill Sets: Design Thinking Conceptual Thinking Analytical Thinking Gathering Information Distributed Systems Web/Application Server Architecture REST APIs Spring Boot Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cassandra MongoDB Technical Writing Communication Skills Written Communication Nice to Have: Enterprise Architecture: 2-5 years Please Provide Answers to the Qualifying Questions Below: How many years of professional experience do you have?
