Job Overview We’re looking for a hands-on IoT Software Engineer who thrives in complex environments where hardware meets cloud. You’ll take on challenging technical issues, modernize core application modules, and optimize end-to-end performance across embedded systems, mobile apps, web interfaces, and cloud infrastructure. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working across the full stack in a highly connected, data-driven ecosystem. H1B Sponsorship is available! (Must have 1-140 approved) This is a FULL TIME role - Sorry no C2C What You’ll Do Troubleshoot & Optimize Code Dig deep into existing codebases to find, diagnose, and resolve hard-to-spot performance and reliability issues Optimize Java and Go applications for real-time interaction with sensors, edge devices, and cloud platforms Conduct performance profiling and lead code improvement initiatives Redesign & Modernize Systems Re-architect high-impact components for greater scale, speed, and fault tolerance Enhance data flow between devices and cloud systems to ensure reliable synchronization Leverage edge computing to reduce latency and boost real-time decision-making Advance IoT Infrastructure Use AWS tools like IoT Core, Lambda, S3, RDS, and IAM to fine-tune cloud deployments Improve telemetry, security, and availability across IoT workflows Contribute to system-wide improvements and collaborate cross-functionally as needed What You Bring 3+ years leading or mentoring engineering teams 3+ years of development experience with Java and Go Deep troubleshooting skills in IoT systems (low latency, device interaction, real-time processing) 2+ years working with AWS services (especially IoT and compute/storage/security) 2+ years working with SQL and optimizing queries for performance Knowledge of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservices Seniority level
