McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a staff physician in the Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Imaging. The chosen candidate will contribute to the department’s mission to educate health science professionals and model the best practices in clinical care and public health through research, teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other services.
The Staff Physician will be responsible for delivering patient care services by performing and interpreting radiologic examinations in our emergency departments at Memorial Hermann TMC and LBJ General Hospital. Additionally, they will be involved in teaching and mentoring residents and fellows during their rotations.
Qualifications
Texas Medical License or ability to obtain
Graduation from an ACGME-accredited Radiology Residency Program (or equivalent)
ABR certification or eligibility
Proficiency in multimodality clinical skills
Capability to remain calm under pressure and work swiftly while maintaining high accuracy.
Proven track record of one-on-one resident supervision.
