Overview
The Division of Cardiology & Cardiovascular Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Children's is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Physician to join an experienced group of 9 critical care physicians and 16 advanced practice providers caring for patients in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU). Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care and supervision of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers in the PCICU. Perform pre‑ and post‑operative care for critically ill infants, children, adolescents, and adults with congenital and acquired heart disease. Lead comprehensive heart failure/transplant services, including mechanical support (ECMO and VAD). Utilize advanced ICU technologies such as inhaled nitric oxide, renal replacement therapy, advanced physiologic displays, and predictive analytics. Collaborate closely with the fetal care center, fetal coordinators, and the fetal surgery program. Qualifications
Board certified in pediatric cardiology and pediatric critical care medicine, or completion of a 4th year advanced pediatric cardiac critical care fellowship. Prior experience in a pediatric cardiac intensive care unit or equivalent cardiac critical care setting is preferred. Strong teaching and research interests with multiple opportunities for both. Compensation
Minimum salary: $271,750 | Maximum salary: $374,500 (full‑time, 100% FTE).
