Plant Intellectual Property Practice Group The Morrison & Foerster Plant Intellectual Property Group is a cross‑disciplinary practice group handling a wide range of intellectual property issues related to plants and other agricultural products. The Group combines expertise in patent, licensing, corporate, trademark, and litigation fields.
Responsibilities
Prepare and prosecute patent and plant variety applications.
Contribute to prosecution strategy.
Provide technical and legal research and analysis for matters pending before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Provide technical support for PTAB and litigation proceedings.
Requirements
Ph.D. in plant biology or a closely related field.
Outstanding writing and analytical skills; top academic credentials essential.
USPTO registration not required.
