Overview
We are seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrists to serve as Clinical Leads within multidisciplinary inpatient treatment teams. These full‑time roles are located at a state‑operated, Joint Commission–accredited psychiatric care setting in the Long Island region of New York.
Responsibilities
Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments and admissions
Developing individualized treatment and medication management plans
Ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests and collaborating with clinical team members
Providing individual and group psychotherapy
Supervising psychiatric residents and fellows
About the System This state‑operated psychiatric care system delivers recovery‑oriented services for complex mental health needs, offering a broad range of treatment modalities including behavioral therapies, animal‑assisted programming, and ECT. The system maintains academic affiliations and offers training opportunities for psychiatry residents and fellows.
Compensation and Benefits
Psychiatrist Loan Repayment Program up to $120,000
Supplemental income opportunities up to 50% of base salary for voluntary off‑hours coverage

Minimum Qualifications
Psychiatrist 1: Active New York medical license and completion of an ABPN‑approved psychiatry training program.
