Facilities Team Leader – Arkansas Water Team Garver is seeking a Facilities Team Leader for our Arkansas Water Team. This position will be based in one of our offices in North Little Rock, Fayetteville, Rogers, Fort Smith, or Conway, AR. The Facility Team Leader will build and maintain a portfolio of water and wastewater treatment and pumping projects in support of the Arkansas Water Team across the state. These projects consist of the study, planning, design, and implementation of treatment facilities for water and wastewater. This senior leadership position provides the opportunity for someone to run their own business and portfolio, with autonomy to focus on the growth of revenues and production for a set of clients of their choosing.

Project Responsibilities

Water conveyance and distribution, including pump stations and storage facilities

Wastewater conveyance and collection, including lift stations and force mains

Pipeline inspection and rehabilitation

Water and wastewater master planning

Water and wastewater treatment facilities

Required Skills

Team Leadership:

must be able to develop, mentor, and oversee a highly motivated team.

Project Management:

must prepare scope‑of‑work and level‑of‑effort estimates for contract proposals; be able to lead and manage the team for successful execution of contracted scope, budget, and schedule.

Water/Wastewater:

must be proficient at the delivery of planning, design, bidding, and construction administration phases of water and wastewater facilities projects.

Business Development:

must develop, capture, and maintain workload for the team throughout Arkansas by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Client Service Management:

be able to develop and maintain a healthy network of clients throughout Arkansas.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, biological, or similar engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.

Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Arkansas or ability to gain reciprocity within 6 months of hire.

10 or more years of similar experience in the water/wastewater utilities market.

Preferred Skills

Passionate about client service and the water industry.

Strong work ethic and strong communication skills.

Master's degree in civil, environmental, biological, or similar engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.

Experience with state and/or national conference technical presentations on water/wastewater treatment topics.
