We are looking for a highly motivated, sales‑driven leader to take on the role of Stretch Manager. This position is ideal for someone who loves sales, is passionate about helping members achieve health and wellness goals, and can build and guide a team of personal trainers focused on stretch programs.
Position Overview As Stretch Manager, you will assess member needs, recommend customized mobility programs, and take ownership of the member experience and business objectives, especially during weekend operations. You will manage a floor team, set appointments, build relationships, and sell packages while leading the development of professional stretch programs.
Responsibilities
Lead generation through marketing and networking.
Implement the sales process to convert information requests into paying customers.
Manage stretch staff schedules.
Teach other fitness professionals how to perform individual assisted stretches and develop programs based on specific assessments.
Qualifications
2+ years of fitness sales and/or operations experience.
Ability to manage and drive program‑based revenue streams.
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email.
Highly organized, proficient in data management, and able to prioritize deadlines and improve service opportunities.
Professional, punctual, reliable, with strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to perform assisted stretching programs on clients of all sizes and age groups.
Goal‑oriented and motivated to exceed monthly production goals.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours in a working day and perform physical labor.
Learn and conduct 25‑ and 50‑minute assisted stretching sessions.
Teach and interpret assessments.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Have a national personal training certification.
1–3 years of experience managing a revenue‑generating fitness program.
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to motivate clients.
Motivated to continually learn about exercise science, fascial anatomy, and fitness programming.
Experience with corrective exercise preferred but not required.
Requirements
Must successfully pass a background check.
CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
Ability to work in a gym setting, move about club floors and rooms, and communicate with employees, members, and the public.
Ability to access and operate the company computer system, including preparing documents, entering data, and reading reports.
Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs.
