FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Location: Texas Children's Hospital – 9700 Bissonnet Street, Houston, TX 77036. Online applications accepted only.
Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 pm to 1:00 am. (Details upon interview.)
Requirement: Prior experience in floor care is required.
Pay Range: $13.00–$13.50 per hour.
Job Summary Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.
Essential Functions
Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor surfaces.
Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
