Heavy Equipment Operator - Dirt Crew at Silver Star Construction Co. Inc. Heavy Equipment Operator - Dirt Crew role at Silver Star Construction Co. Inc. Location: Moore, OK 73160, USA • Full-Time Overview Silver Star Construction is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to drive/operate and control large equipment and vehicles including bulldozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, scraper/tractor pans, track hoes, motor graders, mixers, and water trucks. Responsibilities Drive/operate heavy equipment listed above with safety and efficiency in mind Unload equipment from vehicles Know machine settings and adjust as necessary Maintain equipment functionality and perform preventive maintenance Keep performance records of machine functionality regularly Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections/evaluations of the equipment Skills Hand and foot coordination, good communication skills (oral and written), teamwork, strong critical thinking, high attention to detail, and the ability to make decisions that prevent accidents and damage to property. Physical ability to work in a strenuous environment and operate heavy equipment.
