Senior IT Auditor

We are working with a global organization that is actively seeking a

Senior IT Internal Auditor

to join their internal audit team. We are looking for someone with

5+ years of progressive internal audit experience , particularly with a focus on

IT risks and processes . Ideal candidates will have a background in

internal audit within a public company or top-tier advisory firm . Responsibilities: Lead and execute complex, global IT audit projects

Develop and maintain IT internal audit plans and risk assessments

Perform audits over IT governance, cybersecurity, system implementations, and IT general controls

Conduct process walkthroughs and document in flowchart format

Support and lead project management audits of system implementations

Provide advisory services to enhance IT governance, risk, and control

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field preferred

5+ years of IT internal audit experience required

Experience with audit standards such as COBIT, COSO, NIST, ISO27001, SOX, and GDPR

Certifications such as CIA, CISA, CISSP, or CPA preferred

Strong understanding of IT risk management, cybersecurity, system development lifecycle, and cloud infrastructure auditing
