About the job Customer Service Rep
We are looking for a detail-oriented
Customer Support Specialist
to join our team. This role involves handling data entry for order processing, managing high volumes of customer communications, coordinating shipments, and maintaining strong interdepartmental relationships. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that customer orders and inquiries are managed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform
data entry for order processing
with a high degree of accuracy. Manage a
high volume of emails , providing timely responses to customer inquiries, requests, and concerns. Communicate
verbally and in writing with customers
about orders, pricing, inventory, and other requests. Coordinate with
transportation carriers
to ensure timely scheduling for customer shipments. Maintain and update
inventory control
records to facilitate order processing. Collaborate with various departments and all levels of management:
Warehouse personnel
for order substitutions and revisions. Sales team
regarding orders, pricing, inventory levels, and customer complaints.
Work with
outside carriers
to confirm load availability for customer pickups. Maintain and manage the
customer database
for advanced shipping notices and routing requests. Multitask
and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Skills and Qualifications:
Prior truck scheduling experience
is preferred. Strong
data entry skills
with attention to accuracy and detail. Excellent
verbal and written communication
skills, especially over the phone. Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
and general computer knowledge. Good math skills
for handling order processing and inventory tasks. Exceptional
attention to detail
and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
