Base Salary Range:
$150 K – $210 K plus performance‑based bonus

About The Opportunity:
A rapidly growing full‑service third‑party logistics provider with multiple facilities in Southern California (Inland Empire) is seeking an experienced operational leader to take full ownership of its warehouse and distribution network. Operating over 400,000 square feet of modern warehouse space and handling every aspect of procurement and fulfillment—including drayage, warehousing, receiving, shipping, e‑commerce fulfillment, dedicated CSRs, inventory management, EDI integration, transportation management, and FBA prep—this company is scaling quickly. With several existing sites and a new flagship facility under construction, we need a seasoned professional to lead day‑to‑day operations while positioning the organization for continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage multiple distribution facilities, including a large flagship site and other regional locations
Maintain a strong floor presence, ensuring processes are optimized, KPIs are met, and operational efficiency is maximized
Implement and refine best practices for 3PL operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and transportation
Develop and monitor key performance indicators to manage labor, equipment, and overhead costs within industry norms
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and automation to enhance throughput and accuracy
Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic operational plans aligned with growth objectives
Lead and mentor department heads (Warehouse, IT, Customer Service), fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and performance excellence
Ensure compliance with safety and HR standards across all facilities
Maintain strong, proactive communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Support customer service in resolving client concerns
Provide regular KPI, metric, and performance reports to the CEO
Identify trends and implement solutions to drive profitability>
Coordinate with IT and systems leadership to integrate technology advancements into daily operations
Travel regularly between facilities, including occasional overnight stays
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years in senior operational leadership (GM, COO, Ops Director, or equivalent) within a large‑scale 3PL or distribution environment
Proven success managing P&L and improving profitability
Experience managing multiple facilities totaling at least several hundred thousand square feet
Strong background in operational scaling, technology and automation implementation, and cost control
Highly tech‑savvy with the ability to evaluate, implement, and oversee warehouse management systems and automation solutions
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and hold teams accountable
Willingness to be on‑site daily; this is not a remote or hybrid position
Ability to travel frequently between facilities
Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in supply‑chain management, logistics, or equivalent work experience
