Job Description We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Safety Manager to join our team. As the Safety Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing all safety protocols and procedures for our construction projects. You will work closely with project managers and site supervisors to ensure that all safety measures are being followed and that our employees and subcontractors are working in a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for all construction sites
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Train and educate employees and subcontractors on safety protocols and procedures
Investigate and report any accidents or incidents on job sites
Develop and maintain safety records and reports
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure safety measures are integrated into project plans and schedules
Conduct safety meetings and provide safety updates to management and project teams
Stay up-to-date with industry safety standards and regulations and implement changes as necessary
Manage safety equipment and supplies inventory and ensure they are properly maintained
Communicate and coordinate with external safety agencies and authorities as needed
Act as a safety resource for all employees and provide guidance and support on safety-related matters
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role, preferably in the construction industry
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety standards
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to conduct safety training and presentations
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other safety-related software
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
