Associate Attorney – Defense Civil Litigation

We are currently seeking a Civil Litigation Defense Attorney to join our San Francisco office. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed California attorney eager to build litigation experience in a collaborative, dynamic, and supportive environment. You will play a central role in handling a variety of litigation tasks while also fostering meaningful client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Court appearances Pleadings and motion practice Discovery and depositions Mediations and trial preparation Direct client interaction and relationship-building Work Culture & Flexibility: We emphasize a healthy work-life balance, offering: Remote work flexibility with access to an in-office environment Mentorship and training for professional and personal development A team-based atmosphere that supports time off and flexible schedules Billable Hours Requirement: Minimum of 1,860 billable hours per year Equivalent to approximately 155 hours/month or 465 hours/quarter Bonus Structure: Earn $120/hour for every billable hour beyond 1,860 Bonus payouts may be advanced throughout the year based on performance 401(k) with immediate employer matching Paid medical insurance (including zero-contribution plan options) Dental reimbursement up to $1,000 annually Vision, life, and disability insurance Parental leave, FSA, and HSA options Requirements: 1+ year of civil litigation experience (Preferred) Seniority Level:
