Position Summary We are looking for a highly motivated
Corporate & Compliance Attorney
with strong communication skills and a solid foundation in business and corporate law.
Fluent in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) is required , as the role involves direct communication with the CEO, delivering bilingual presentations, and interacting with clients and partners. Experience in immigration law is a plus, but not required. This role will support multiple affiliated companies and future business expansion.
Key Responsibilities 1. Immigration Seminars and Public Speaking
Deliver seminars, webinars, and livestream presentations on U.S. immigration topics (training and content support provided).
Explain legal concepts clearly to non-professional audiences in both English and Chinese.
Collaborate with the marketing and client services team to provide legal insights.
2. Corporate Legal Support
Manage
new company formation , corporate structuring, and business registrations.
Draft, review, and negotiate corporate contracts and legal documents.
Oversee
corporate compliance , including federal/state filings and policy updates.
Conduct
due diligence
for new ventures, partnerships, or acquisitions.
3. Intellectual Property & Business Operations
Support
patent application processes
(experience preferred but not required; collaboration with external counsel acceptable).
Assist in protecting the company’s intellectual property and business interests.
Provide legal analysis on business risks and strategic opportunities.
4. Cross-Company Legal Services
Provide legal support for the CEO’s multiple existing businesses.
Offer strategic legal guidance for future business expansions and new ventures.
Qualifications
Law degree required (LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent).
Must be a
licensed attorney
in the United States;
New York Bar preferred .
Fluent in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) is required.
Strong foundation in corporate, business, or transactional law.
Public speaking experience or strong presentation skills.
Familiarity or interest in immigration law (experience is a plus but not required).
Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with senior leadership.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
