TerraBella Senior Living is the proud operator of more than 30 amenity‑, care‑ and lifestyle‑focused communities located throughout the Carolinas, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee. The communities together account for more than 2,200 units and span a full spectrum of senior living and care options, including Active Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and short‑term Respite Care.

Regional Director of Operations The Regional Director of Operations supports, leads, and directs the communities to operational and financial success. Directly responsible for achieving each community’s resident satisfaction, delivery of resident care and services, occupancy and revenue goals.

Responsibilities

Manage the organization’s operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies of TerraBella Senior Living.

Communicate a clear, resident‑focused vision to communities.

Review the annual resident satisfaction survey, develop and deploy programs to increase resident satisfaction.

Manage the Executive Director of each community and hold them accountable for achievement of community‑specific and organization‑wide goals.

Develop a plan to meet NOI expectations with each Executive Director.

Ensure budgeted revenue is achieved or exceeded by maximizing occupancy.

Develop and execute plans to increase occupancy.

Review monthly financial statements, implement plans of action with Executive Directors for deficiencies.

Manage the Regional Director of Resident Care, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines and standards of care are followed.

Maintain strong knowledge of competition.

Perform above duties by being a visible presence in the communities.

Generally spend four days per week at the various communities; the remainder of work is regularly performed from the corporate office.

Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee and/or manage efforts related to recruitment, hiring, employee relations, and separations of Community Leaders in accordance with policy.

Oversee Community Executive Directors, maintaining full responsibility for efficient operations and compliance with the financial goals established in the approved operating budget within the region.

Oversee Directors of Resident Care.

Delegate authority, responsibility, and accountability to responsible leaders.

Lead the regional team in support of the mission and values of the organization in accordance with community values.

Demonstrate an attitude of teamwork when interacting with community team members; take ownership of responsibilities through prompt and appropriate follow‑up to issues as they arise (ensuring resolution); anticipate needs of residents and or community team members proactively.

Promote the development of team management skills, capabilities, and sharing of best practices through participation in and leadership within the region.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

A minimum of five years’ experience in a senior living leadership role that includes sales/operations responsibilities.
