Job Summary And Responsibilities Sign-on Bonus available

The Mammography Technologist, under direct supervision, utilizes specialized knowledge and skills to produce high quality mammographic images for screening and/or diagnosis for the specified patient population. This position is responsible for completing required documentation for MQSA/ACR/FDA accreditations.

Job Requirements

Current State of Washington licensure as a Radiology Technologist – Certified.

American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R).

American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (M) or successful completion of the Mammography certification (M) within 4 months of hire date.

Minimum one year experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.

24 hours of continuing medical education required every two years.

CPR Certification, to be renewed at designated intervals by VMFH.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology; strong organizational skills; willingness to grow with technological changes in the field; ability to manage stressful situations appropriately; ability to attend to multiple tasks and work independently; versatility and flexibility.

A high school diploma or GED is required.

Preferred

Two years of experience in mammography.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post‑hire. This ongoing competency is required through internal resources; external RQI resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health Compliance requirements.
