Responsibilities The Mammography Technologist, under direct supervision, utilizes specialized knowledge and skills to produce high‑qualityographic images for screening and/or diagnosis of patients. The role also includes completing required documentation for MQSA, ACR, and FDA accreditations, and participating in quarterly AHA Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification.
Requirements
Current State of Washington licensure as a Radiology Technologist (Certified).
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification for Radiology (R) required.
ARRT Mammography (M) certification or completion of Mammography certification within 4 months of hire.
Minimum of one year of experience in diagnostic radiology (preferred two years of experience in mammography).
24 hours of continuing medical education required every two years.
CPR certification renewed per VMFH intervals.
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills; ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
Sign‑on Bonus Sign‑on bonus available.
Compensation $40.99 – $62.60 per hour.
