Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank Anesthesia department as an
Anesthesia Clinical Education Specialist .
The Anesthesia Clinical Education Specialist is accountable for the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of education related to orientation, mandatory/required education, continuing education and professional development within perioperative anesthesia services. The individual incorporates existing and new practice, quality, safety and regulatory standards into education that aligns with the organization/unit culture and goals.
Flexible FTE - 0.4 FTE clinical/0.4 FTE educator up to 0.6 FTE clinical/0.4 FTE educator.
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) oversees line operations of the anesthesia department and supervises support staff.
Work independently as well as collaborate with Anesthesiologists and SRNAs. See a wide variety of cases.
Enjoy flexible hours and scheduling.
Fully Integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist training program.
Have a current Minnesota APRN license and be board certified or eligible from the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
At least 2 years of previous experience as a CRNA.
