Job Description Summary This position involves designing and implementing advanced data‑science models to support business needs, collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, delivering solutions, driving best practices in data science, ensuring data quality, and mentoring junior scientists.
Essential Responsibilities
Lead and manage data‑science projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and reporting systems to support data analysis and decision‑making.
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
Ensure data quality and integrity through regular audits and validation processes.
Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Expected Qualifications
5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Responsibilities and Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and a PhD in a quantitative field (Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering) or equivalent industry experience.
5+ years professional experience in an analytical role, with proven success managing teams of analysts or data scientists.
Proficiency in databases, spreadsheets, and statistical tools, with advanced skills in SQL, data mining, and BigQuery analytics (Google Cloud).
Extensive experience in experimentation, including designing, executing, and analyzing product or feature launches.
Expertise in synthesizing complex data into clear, actionable insights and narratives.
Experience working with large, multi‑dimensional datasets and solving analytical challenges.
Familiarity with tools such as Python, Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks, Teradata, Hadoop/Hive, SQL, and BigQuery.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capability to deliver actionable recommendations based on analysis.
Advanced proficiency with reporting tools like Tableau and Excel for creating and sharing insights.
Industry experience in payments, eCommerce, or financial services is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex problems into simpler terms and effectively influence peers and senior leadership.
Compensation The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $152,500 to $262,350. Actual compensation is based on location, skills, and experience, and may include an annual performance bonus, equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits. For more information, visit
