Job Description We are seeking a Senior Executive Assistant (EA) for the CEO of Western Digital.

Reporting to the CEO, you will partner closely with the CEO’s Chief of Staff to execute his office. You will be required to structure a working model with another EA to ensure coverage for the CEO across multiple time zones.

You will be instrumental in ensuring the executive office operates efficiently and effectively. You will be a thought partner and ambassador, managing a complex calendar and balancing relationship building across the business and external stakeholders. The role requires confidentiality, organization, innovation, a can‑do attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Flexible working hours, independent work, and team collaboration are essential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Calendar Management: manage and update the CEO’s complex calendar.

Travel: plan the CEO’s travel, including arrangements, ground transport, hotels, passports, and visas.

Briefing Documents: coordinate with the Communications team to produce briefing documents and packets for meetings and trips.

Communication: facilitate seamless communication between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.

Partnerships: work proactively with the ELT EA community to resolve scheduling conflicts.

General Enquiries: serve as the source for inquiries into the CEO’s office and refer routine matters appropriately.

Tool Management: manage expense reports, SOWs and POs, and use WD’s internal tools (M365, Co‑Pilot, OneDrive).

Board of Directors: interact with the WD Board of Directors as required.

Projects: partner with the Chief of Staff on special projects.

Relationship Building: build strong relationships across the organization and with key external partners.

Leadership: cascade information to the administrative team and lead EAs supporting other ELT members.

Community: build communities to drive personal development and support peers across the business.

Qualifications Required:

Minimum 10 years supporting a CEO or C‑Level Executive of a large public company.

Experience liaising with a Board of Directors for a large public company.

Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint.

Ability to manage the CEO’s time while keeping the office approachable.

Highly organized, resourceful, and detail‑oriented.

Thrives under pressure and adapts quickly to changing priorities.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proactive, resource‑oriented, and solutions‑focused.

Works unsupervised and at a fast pace.

Utmost integrity and professionalism.

Team player capable of working across multiple teams.

Experience mentoring other admins and collaborating with peers.

Executive presence and excellent judgment.

High emotional intelligence and interpersonal acumen.

Daily presence at WD’s San Jose Great Oaks office required; may involve domestic and international travel.

Compensation & Benefits Details

Salary range is based on education, experience, performance, location, and other factors. The range may be modified in the future.

Non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime pay per company policy.

Employees are eligible for bonuses under the Short Term Incentive Plan (STI) or Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) and may be considered for the Long‑Term Incentive (LTI) program.
