The Opportunity The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be a technical and functional expert driving optimization across DAT's Salesforce ecosystem - including Sales Cloud, CPQ/Revenue Cloud, and connected business systems. This role requires both hands‑on expertise and strategic leadership, operating with significant independence to design, implement, and govern Salesforce solutions that enable the full lead‑to‑cash lifecycle.
You’ll partner with stakeholders across Sales, RevOps, Marketing, and Finance to streamline processes, improve data quality, and enable automation that scales with DAT's growth.
What Success Looks Like
Operates as the subject matter expert for Sales Cloud and CPQ/Revenue Cloud
Designs scalable, automated workflows that reduce manual effort and error
Translates business needs into efficient Salesforce configurations and data models
Improves visibility across quoting, contracting, and subscription management
Strengthens collaboration between Sales, RevOps, and Finance teams
Mentors junior admins and establishes best practices for platform excellence
What You’ll Do
Partner with product managers and stakeholders to conduct product discoveries and translate business needs into actionable Salesforce solutions
Design and optimize lead‑to‑cash processes using Sales Cloud and CPQ/Revenue Cloud, including pricing rules, product catalog, and approval workflows
Independently manage Salesforce projects - from configuration to testing and deployment - ensuring business alignment and data integrity
Configure and maintain Salesforce functionality (flows, validation rules, custom objects, dashboards, security, etc.)
Collaborate cross‑functionally to align integrations and reporting between Salesforce, finance systems, and marketing tools
Ensure compliance and accuracy for contracts, billing, and revenue processes
Proactively monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements
Support change management and release readiness by documenting features and training key users
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to Level II admins and platform stakeholders
The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring
5+ years of Salesforce administration experience, with advanced expertise in Sales Cloud and CPQ/Revenue Cloud
Proven ability to manage complex Salesforce initiatives independently and in partnership with business leaders
Strong understanding of lead‑to‑cash workflows, including quoting, contracting, and billing automation
Deep hands‑on experience with Salesforce configuration: Flow, validation rules, user security, and automation best practices
Proficiency in data management and governance (Data Loader, SOQL, schema design, integrations)
Familiarity with pricing and subscription models (subscription, usage‑based, volume‑based)
Salesforce certifications preferred: Advanced Administrator, CPQ Specialist, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Revenue Cloud Consultant
Bonus: Experience with Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, or CRM Analytics
Bonus: Exposure to DevOps/CI‑CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
Excellent communicator who bridges business needs with technical execution

For Washington‑based candidates, in compliance with the Washington State Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this role is $126,000.00 - $160,000.00 + target bonus. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
